Well, it all depends on if you are looking for a private sale or a new/certified pre-owned car from a dealership. I don't know of any private sales, but you just have to keep your eyes open.. there is a for sale/classifieds board on these forums but I've never checked it out. You might want to post in there as well (if you haven't already).

Hillcrest VW (Halifax)
Steele VW (Dartmouth)
Coleman's Autohaus (Bridgewater)
Vantage Motors (Truro)
Valley VW (Kentville)
They've all got Pre-Owned listings with descriptions for all of the used cars on their lots. The CPO cars come with a 2 year/40k km warranty. I got my 2001 Jetta from Hillcrest VW for a decent deal, and they've been great for anything I've needed done to the car.

I saved mine from the auction. Got it for $12,000 /images/graemlins/eek.gif
Patience is the key. A lot of people are starting to come off of there 4 year leases.

Just wondering if you could expand on your comments "saving it from the auction and waiting for the 4 yr leases to come off lease. I am currently in the market to buy a 2001-2003 TDI Jetta and would love to know how to get a great deal on one, as you did . ( $12,000 for a 2001)
Any help would be greatly appreciated !
