here is a load of logs now that I have a VNT 17 hybrid FMIC, pd150 air box, 3" maf, pd150 TIP and intake manifold
The one titled
OK
is from tonight and I fixed a tiny boost leak you could hear, small tear in the hump hose...So there is no boost leaks. Just massive under fueling and over limited TQ and smoke maps.
Butt dyno and boost guage says the thing is boosting a little harder and holding a little stronger. for good examples see lines 1667 -1790 and 2253-2300. I think the fueling is getting confused because the software is not feeding the fuel for the air, the boost guage shows 20lbs holding, as expected spikes to 25ish. and then holds around 20, sometimes it will creep up to 22. I do not think the 2.5bar map sensor can keep up witht he mechanical boost gauge so I believe the gauge is telling me the truth. Hopefully sunday I can get the down pipe on and see how that lowers EGT this setup is warm, 400 at idle 600 cruzing and 1000 quickly on power request 1200 on WOT from 60-80 and boy is it doggy !
