Limp Mode for VNT Actuator, and more.

Car went to limp mode with glow plug light flashing.

Scanned and pulled 8 codes, one of them is for the VNT actuator.

I have a schedule to bring to the shop but not until towards the end of this week.

I understand a car on limp mode should be driven too much (read at all), but was wondering how long could you drive a car on limp mode for the VNT/boost controller?

Replaced the turbo, and installed DieselGeek's P2015 bracket and all is well in the universe again...anyone want to buy a mint "mk6" TDi wagon with 103XXX mi? Brand new turbo ?

I feel your pain. I'm having a world of issues with my 2010 JSW, 120k mi (got the limp mode, but then cleared). I commute from Delaware to Morristown, NJ several times a week. Can you recommend a VW shop near Morristown, there's not much around me that I'm confident with.

Not near Morristown but up by Jefferson where I had the turbo replaced.
