I second that recommendation. I put one of his light bars on my Jetta. It's great!

Maybe you can send him a PM and see if he still makes them.

I put a bar in the lower grill and works great. Have it set up to come on with high beams.

Nice one! What size / kind of bar did you buy??

I’ll have to double check but I believe it was a 26” bar. Got it off amazon. It’s mounted to the bumper cover which is great since it does not have to be removed to take the cover off should you have to. I cut the sender grille just enough to clear the light while keeping the remaining grille on either side of it.

It was a 22”, it’s also a curved bar which has the perfect arch and matches the curve of the bumper.

Millenium falcon still makes the light bars. You can find them under the for sale and wanted section of the Forum

I run a Nilight 22" 270w Triple row LED light bar.(Amazon) I absolutely love the thing.
I had TWO 9.5" LEDs (pictured)in the same spot before, but wanted more light for "Herping."
Ran through a relay to a switch inside the cab next to the Emergency Flashers button.
For the 22" i had to build a bracket to lower it so that it was centered(height off ground) in the bumper opening.

I ran a switch to the blank wheee the seat heater switch goes in the center of the dash. Since mine was primarily for use on dark backroads looking for dear, I tapped off the high beam for my signal to the relay mounted in the engine compartment on the firewall.

When I hit the high beams, I now have a wall of bright led light for about 150-160 degrees in front of me. I got the curved bar which helps with the angle.

That’s correct, technically it’s illegal, but since I always dim my high beams when I see a car coming it doesn’t really matter.
