I was looking into a lift kit for my 2005 Jetta TDI bew. What do you guys recommend for parts and other things I might need
Although, I notice on their page that if the vehicle has ESC, it shouldn't be used. Didn't all A4 TDIs have it?Probably the gold standard for 2" lift on the Mk4 is metalnerd's kit.
No. Maybe your thinking of ESP which the gassers have?Although, I notice on their page that if the vehicle has ESC, it shouldn't be used. Didn't all A4 TDIs have it?![]()
My "03 Golf has it, I don't know about it causing problems with a lift though. The only TDI I own with it and the only one not lifted. Does someone have a thread referring to that issue? No. Maybe your thinking of ESP which the gassers have?
Totally.Th last comment sounds like AI, useless info at the least.
Good to know about the ESP, I was wondering about that.A lift is a useful option when deciding you want the bottom of your vehicle to be higher from the ground than stock …
Just kidding guys
Human here, I have a BEW with esp - and have been running metal nerds maybe 3” lift kit if I remember correctly - with no issues whatsoever.
im also knee deep in the beef on a budget suspension refresh - which is good cause one of both pairs of shocks when you push down stays stuck down. That must explain the slamming feeling I’d get with potholes.
( I’m waiting on an unusually slow delivery from roseland tech - for some bolts and upper strut mounts that I didn’t know I needed to replace)
but yeah the metal nerds I can vouch for with ESP![]()
