Lift gate crossover

I need to replace the lift gate on my 2011 sportwagen. A local scrapyard has a couple im going to check tomorrow, and they have a few 2009s as well. Anyone know if the lift gate from a 2009 fits a 2011? It looks very similar, and the part number is almost the same so maybe the change was minor, or trim or something.

1K9-827-025-B: listed as fitting 2010-2014

Perhaps a difference in wiring, at most. I highly doubt the physical shape would have changed.
