Did the tech bulletin VW issued years back about MK7’s leaking rear washer nozzle leak expire? Or could you still get it fixed for free?

If not, pretty good how-to-fix diy done up over at the vortex.

And actually, from the sounds of that thread, and following the link, seems like it's not even a TSB, but rather a TT ("Tech Tip": # 92-14-04) the fix documented in the TT (part replacement from VW) doesn't seem to fix the issue either.

I'd be inclined to go the DIY route outlined in the Vortex thread.

i just wipe down the rear window each fill up.

I think the issue is in the the hot sun the fluid expands in the line and dribbles out, if i don't use the any washer fluid front or rear in a while it usually stops leaking until I use the fluid again.

for those 3 magical weeks in spring when its both black fly and mosquito season I swear i use more fluid than in the winter.

I replaced the nozzle itself once because I think I broke it when cleaning ice off rear window. I think it was a dribbler, I bought the whole light assembly and replaced it a few years ago. It just started leaking again a couple weeks ago    . Guess I'll have to look at that permanent fix...
