I am here at SeaTac and I found some old light fixture covers (plastic) I broke the best parts off and I will take it with me.

3 stickers reserved and one on my car already - you will like these. There are soo many mods people want to do I have lost count as of today. Boost gauge, rear fog light, Maybe chip will be on the agenda for the red beast. The following items have been identified:

Rear brake pads
Boost gauge
Rear fog light
Epsolonian
Descreening
Side marker
Chipping
Tuning Box
Piper Cross???
Applying the "TDI Tribe", "Farfrompumping" and Stickers brought by MR. Benson from Da swedenland
Drivers edition 5-speed shift knob
PVC breather
Fuel filter
Intercooler cleaning

Did I forget something???

If you have any related items you are trying to sell I suggest you bring it.

At this point there will be 20-30 cars with 40-50 people showing. A reminder that this is a family event to have fun and enjoy our cars.

Can't wait to get Upsoluted... =)

I'll be there at 10-11ish, running B90. =) Can't stay too late cuz I'm heading up to BC to meet some friends for a long weekend of Vancouver-style partying.

Regarding the fuel for Canadians... the only one of the Arcos that has the good fuel that's anywhere near I-5 is the one in Tacoma. It's actually a bit off the freeway (I think you take SR 16 to get there) but it's not far. The Sea-Tac location listed does NOT have diesel.

Will anybody have a Vag-Com running at the GTG? I'd like to check my injection timing.

I'd also be happy to buy a PiperX panel if they are available. Stickers are cool too. =)

hey people, just letting you all know that I have stirred up some interest in the GTG at Larson's AutoHaus in Tacoma. Our new location is now open for biz and we are all very excited about the new VW "Marketplace". I just started working there in sales, July 5th was my first day. I am very pleased with my experience so far and encourage all to try and stop by 7633 South Tacoma Way. It is a fine example of the direction VW is going in. We have a lot of new 2001's that have come in over the past few days and expect more soon, lots of 1.8t, TDI and Tiptronic. I hope to be down myself sometime after work on Saturady, as I have to go give away a new Beetle at some Golf tournament during the day. I had hoped to bring a new Jetta GLX w/sport package, but I don't think it's gonna happen for the Rookie (me). Maybe some calls to the dealership Saturday morning would convince them to send me out in a new toy?? (253)474-0651 and ask for Mike or Kevin, they are the general and sales managers. Anyway, I'll see you in any case.

They don't understand the enthusiasts, I am the lone VW gearhead in the sales area. TDI crazy and spreading the word. Anyway, I'll see you in any case, hopefully with a couple oilburners on parade.

Will there be a List or a Job Board at the GTG, listing jobs that people hope to get done at the GTG?

For example, I'd like to get some help with installing the CCV breather tube on my NB...I know, a highly technical job

Heinz57, could you please put me down for a TDI sticker?

Thanks.

Heinz, Is there going to be a VAG-COM available as I would like to adjust the injection timing on the Jetta. I have been in contact with Tazz, at the BC GTG we checked the timing but didn't get to adjust it then. He says it needs to be advanced. Also the wifes Passat wagon is in need of Upsolution and maybe a Pipercross air filter.

Sure Brandon, we can be PALS!~ I'm going to get the 205's at the first of the month. I want to trade my Piper cone in for a Viper too. I'll be there sat around 0930 or so.
I'll bring the SPIRIT of Dante too!~ I've known him since he was way little.

Checked with Bill from Midland Automotive - tightening the injectors snug plus a 1/8 - 1/4 turn should be fine. He does not have a torque wrench that goes that low.

TWO DAYS AND COUNTING !!!!

Another event in town is Lakefair - an annual event along the downtown waterfront including music, boats, carnival and vendor booths - the biggest Olympia festival of the year.

Brandon you dog. What injectors did you get? You'll be the first of the Washing-ton-ions to do that aye! Looking forward to seeing that one.

PS I went down and fueled up at the ARCO in Tacoma. 1.39 per and I could tell the difference right off. Started faster, idles better, runs quieter, seems to have a little more power. I added 3oz of Amsoil cetane boost to her though.

Wish I could go
