KW street comfort coilovers issue....

I've had the KWs on the car since new and the car currently has 155,000 on it. I heard a clunking yesterday from the driverside while going to work. Decided to pull into the car wash to investigate and found the spring was broken. Not sure how common this is with KWs but they do offer a "limited lifetime warranty" so I'll be calling them tomorrow morning. The car is not excessively lowered and I do not road race or beat the car. Most of my miles are on the highway and with just me in the vehicle. Since I can see the suspension coming out of the car I was wondering if I should have all the shocks rebuild as well as replace all the upper mounts front and back? Just not sure at 155,000 how worn out everything is?? Finally I ran my factory swaybar end links with the kit but was wondering if adjustables were more suited?

Well I spoke with KW and after some emailed pictures and further discussion they would not warranty my broken spring. They determined that the surface rust on it was the reason for the failure. I was informed by the customer service rep that I did not properly maintain my suspension hence causing the rust and failure. I sat on the phone in silence for about 2 min because I wasn't sure how to reply to such an explanation. I wash the car weekly and spray the suspension off everytime. Finally, I stated that I did not agree and felt that was a ridiculous explanation, then asked to talk to his manager. I got the same generic answer from that gentleman and was told the best they can do is sell me a new one at 50% off... So much for their limited lifetime warranty! Although I guess I found the limited side of it

I did buy one for each side, and I'm just praying the shocks still seem ok when I get it torn down. I highly doubt if the valving is bad that they will cover that either....

Of course the warranty won't cover it.... YOU TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX!

Reminds me of the movie Tommy boy when he is trying to sell the brake pads! Haha
