Okay things got weird today, I did all the Vag-Com sorcery last week to my car, everything has been wonderful. Today I found something new and I dont know if I changed something in the programming or its normal.

My Dad borrowed my car this morning since his is in the shop to run some errands, he gets home and parks it and locks the car and I hear a Honk!, I sat there going ***, I disabled it, Look at my nightstand and my normal keys are there, figured he must of grabbed my other fob out of the Key safe this morning.

So I go out with both keys now, I lock and unlock with my normal key, no honk, I do the same with the other key it honks...

SO this is where things got interesting, I put the second key in the ignition and start the car and go thru the MFD, everything is set at factory defauts, I check the blinker, 3 blinks, until I reset that section and I get my 5 blinks back, I check ATA Confirm, its checked, foot well lights were at default 30%, DRL Active, Coming Home Deactivated, everything else was the same as key 1, radio presets, both would roll the windows up and down.

So this is nice, I now can set up the second key for my loaner key and set everything at default or set them all off so I don't confuse anyone..

Anyone else see this? or did I change something in the module to allow this????

I particularly like this for the door unlock settings. The SWMBO's fob only unlocks the driver side door with a single button press (for safety), double press for the rest and mine will unlock all four doors and the hatch.
