When approaching my car from the drivers side, the drivers door unlocks.

When approaching fron the passenger side,ALL the doors unlock.

If the car is running,I need the remote to unlock the trunk, the Kessy doesn't work.

Normal ??

Thanks,

Your first two statements is how it works from factory.

The trunk - hmmm...that's a head scratcher for me because usually I go to my trunk first or always have the key fob with me or use the button on the door. Also, when I have had the car running and had to get to trunk I simply have all doors unlocked and it has released fine.

Maybe someone has noticed how that works in regards to the trunk. Next time I will try it with engine running, all doors locked except drivers door and see if the trunk will release when I have the fob on me (not pressing button on fob - just using trunk release latch on trunk lid). Maybe you aren't waiting long enough for the car to recognize the key when trying to use the trunk latch.

Yes,

Just use the trunk release on the door pocket.
I tired today and with the car running i came outside and opened the trunk by pressing the trunk release button on the trunk, you just have to make sure the doors are unlocked and it should work just fine.

Also as ME suggested you can press the release from inside as well.

I know the inside release works,I'd like to be able to open the trunk when approaching from the rear, example, my wife is in the running car, passenger seat, and I want to put parcels in the trunk.
I don't know if the doors are locked, but I'll check that.
Thanks

My car is setup so if I open the drivers door all doors unlock, so I never tried when the car was running and doors locked im guessing you wont be able to unlock the trunk.

Try pressing the red alarm button when you are inside while the car is running!

Very loud, not sure why that is the only button that works.

I do that to my gf all the time when she gets in her car, I have her spare key and she has mine (since we both have the same cars black / white). I find it VERY amusing...her - not so much. :D
