- 2001 golf tdi 4 door auto now a manual, mine, 2000 golf 2 door M/T son's,daughters 98 NB non-TDI 2.0, 2003 TDI NB for next daughter, head repaired and on road,glutton for punishment got another tdi 2001NB,another yellow tdi NB , added an 06 NB DSG
I may be in need of a new transmission for the new to me 2006 NB DSG bew TDI.
Finally got it up on ramps and was making a lot of racket. Pretty sure DMF is totally shot .
Found aluminum on old starter I pulled out as that was dead.
Haven’t pulled the trans out yet to see how much damage was done to it.
Just putting feelers out there to see if anyone has one they may part with and a price.
I’ve checked car-parts.com and wasn’t too impressed with what was listed .
