I want to thank you guys who are posting the pics - it sure makes me feel even worse that I was only 1 mile away and could not stop. It sure looks like you had a great turnout and a nice lot of TDI's.

I hope next year my schedule will allow me to attend.

I only say 1 TDI on my way west - a blue Golf on the Beacon bridge ahead of me.

Hey Jay - If the PDR guy is going to come back to one of your get-togethers, have him let people know he's doing work. I noticed him sitting there but Jeff called me for my tune while I was walking over. He left right after. I have a ding I'd have had him take care of.

Had a good time as always..... Steve (scubagli) thanks for takin over the grillin/fryin duties while I played with my band. Thanks to Craig Brown for grillin up a storm as well. The food was all awesome. Bad ass wings grilled and deep fried, state fair chicken, all the sides that everyone brought... Best eatin TDI GTG out there!

It seemed like the band went over well with everyone.... it was a pleasure to rock you!

That PDR guy only hung around for 15 minutes before he left... I talked to him right when he got there (told him to grab a plate of food and have a good time) and then saw him pull out of the driveway 15-20 minutes after.. I guess he didn't really want any business...

I,m dealing with the glow plug issue again. Maybe rocketchip can hook me up with software flash for steel plugs. Someone said he has it down. First have to get hose ceramic nightmares out in one piece.

Even though I didn't make it to this one, I did manage to get hooked up with some "Rocket-Chip" magic for "I-Red" (B4 sedan) Thanks to Jeff and Lugnut. The rocketchip Grin just never goes away and you feel it every time you use the pedal on the right No clutch slipping yet with RC3, but with ~260K on the clock, it may have had a clutch already (I'm hoping)

Now that we're in late July I look back at the pigfest and I don't remember seeing any MKVs or MKVIs. Am I mistaken or were there just MKIVs and MKIIIS?

Almost all MkIVs - two MkIIIs I think? Hopefully that will change for the next one - my friend just bought an 09
