Looking forward to being there. Wondering if anyone might be bringing a VCDS and who might be willing to set "coming home" on my new 2010 JSW?
Coming home allows the headlights to stay on for a determined amount of timeTDIJetta99 said:I'll have VCDS with me, and I'm sure one or three other people will too..
What exactly is "coming home"?
you can post it here if you like.. Also, you're welcome to come anywayF1 tuning said:Hello Jason,

Lelt me know if you are interested.
Tonino Petrolo.
I would come, but maybe Jeff need to knowTDIJetta99 said:you can post it here if you like.. Also, you're welcome to come anyway
No need to install tunes and test, just open files next to each other and explain the changes in the maps. Also explain missing mappings too.F1 tuning said:I would come, but maybe Jeff need to know
I would like to challange Head-to-head tuning competition show so TDI owner after all are able to understand between tuners and how the work gets done, "tuninng is not all the same"
How we do, simple, make a scale and vote all the TDI owners.
1) Smoke " vote 1-10"
2) drivebility "1-20"
3) performance "1-30"
the winner "tuner" pay $ the alchool tab, the looser food..........
hope evrione gets happy and drink allot !!!
I can supply the test carjsrmonster said:No need to install tunes and test, just open files next to each other and explain the changes in the maps. Also explain missing mappings too.
Perhaps the real test is we both sit down with a oem file and build a tuned file from scratch then test it in a car ;-)

I have some of the hardware, but am missing the gauges, dammit.TDIJetta99 said:That's kind of a good idea... I don't want there to be a pixxing match though..
I would be up for the idea of comparing/evaluating 2 similar tunes in the same car.. It would have to be one with both boost and EGT gauges so I could see how they both are with spikes and whatnot.. Damn if only my 99.5 was a flashable ECU.. I have a ton of mods too...
Thats great idea, but no clone Tools, only real with licenze and compamy name too.jsrmonster said:No need to install tunes and test, just open files next to each other and explain the changes in the maps. Also explain missing mappings too.

I would say........you assume.....i would not........delvi__acevedo said:That's why I said "this is my own opinion" you know!
I am coming to work as originally planned. I don't care about this nonsense.rocketeer928 said:Will this head-to-head competition between RC and F1 get in the way of guys (like me) coming to get a tune done to their car? Just wondering how much time it would take. Perhaps not much extra time.
Regardless, it would be an interesting competition/show.
I think that's pretty much the idea.BG said:How about anyone who is looking to tune their car tests both and stays with and pays for the tune they prefer. The cost for the tunes both RC and F1 will be set the same, so $ is not a factor, just the best tune gets the $.
And the decision is made by the car owner, no one else. At the end of the day which ever tuner that had the most tunes wins.
The loser pays the party organizer $500 toward his expenses.
This seems to be a fair way to do this, what do the attending members think?

Tonino has been buying RC tunings from me for many years, and he has called and asked me more questions about tuning than kerma.
There is a huge difference between resellers and tuners, that's all I gotta say.
