Left lights on at work one day, killed battery. Jump started car now radio won't turn on and when I use the key fabb to lock doors horn doesn't chirp. Can't find blow fuse any where. Any ideas? I just want my six cds out of radio before I do the buy back!

Disconnect battery (both wires). Touch wires together for 10 secs. Separate wires. Clean terminals and wire connectors. Reconnect.

Everything should work. You may have to use VCDS to change the horn chirp to 'on' again (I find the clunk of doors locking enough, and the horn can really PO the neighbours).

If that doesn't work, you may have fried something when jump starting...

There is a fuse behind the radio that is probably blown. Need to open the console and pull the radio. The fuse is in the back - left hand side where the electrical connections are. Don't know about the "chirp" though.
