JSWTDI09 Don Strait Passes away

I met Don and his wife at a Fest Can’t remember now which one Great folks….they Lived in Las Vegas his wife Caren passed away a few years ago….I was informed tonight that Don passed away recently…..We are not as young anymore..

He was one of two members that helped me out when I bought my Eurovan from a guy in Vegas.

Sad to hear. I see he passed on July 20th. At least the recent flooding in Vegas didn't contribute any hardship for Don. He was the exact age of my father. Makes you think.

I was just text messaged by his family of his passing.

So sad. I’ll miss the big guy. He had to have been 6’7”. We would meet up locally and talk about TDI’s and modifications. And all that good crap.

I never met Don, but his posts were always signed "Have Fun!" which was always a positive and friendly message. I hope his family knows that he was a positive force at Fred's.
