Das ist ein luftkopf? Du es ein luftkopf? Sie sind ein luftkopf? Any way you phrase it, it means you've got scheiße in your skull.
I always thought it meant airhead...........

It does, but the meaning is roughly the same. And that German fascination with scat...

Thank you for all of support guys. I'm alive but can't do ANYTHING. It's really tough going from a hundered hours a week to zero. For those of you that don't know I used to race snow cross, and yes speed was a factor but if I'm on a sled speed will always be a factor. I was't drinking not that the ER doctors would believe me until they drew blood and checked. I guess you can't crash a snowmobile in Wisconsin without drinking. The other great part was when they kept asking if my wife did this to me. I now have a 6 inch piece of stainless and ten screws for a collar bone. The wrist is in a cast for three more weeks at which the doc will decide if I'm getting a plate and pins or if re cast for a month and hope for the best. This could have turned out a lot worse I was quite a ways from help. I was able to hold it together make it back. On the bright side I'm hoping to give the jetta a little tlc during this down time it's going to the body shop today. Maybe even a clutch and new vnt-20 in a couple weeks.

good to hear you're back on your feet. Let us all know when your car needs some excercise... ;)

I may be coming through there on Tuesday- heading to a biodiesel plant in Illinois and might just be picking up the '03 wagon from Jason...

Good to hear you are moving around a little.Hey,you will be a great weather forecaster now.... a guy I used to work with wrecked his motorcycle and had some metal put in him-he always knew when the weather was changing...

Good to hear you're back at the homestead and moving about (slowly) under your own power. Gonna be fun going through the airport with that shiny new collarbone - hope the wrist mends on its own!

Did he use a pliers and take them out, himself?;)
No but I did talk the nurse into giving me the tool they use. So from now on I can. I have to say what a difference I'm feeling much better now that the staples are out. I am going to go to work for a couple of hours today the first time in 2 weeks.

Time to edit your sig - "I do wheel bearings and surgical staple removal no cutting no alignment required" :D

I know you've probably been stir crazy, but take it easy with work. You can catch up on work, but you can't catch up on healing well.

I've got a staple remover in the top drawer of my desk at work, you could have just asked me.

The jet is back from the body shop. The accent paint is killer. I also had the badges painted to the accent color. Now to talk Jason into a better clutch and new vnt-20 sometime in mid to late March.

I had the bumper inserts, door moldings, and grill painted a flat medium silver/grey. Oh and the badges

I can't wait to drive it. This one hand in a cast sucks! I miss the Jet. Hopefully one more month and I will get some use of my hand back. The doc put the cast on crooked to make sure I didn't start using it to soon. I think the Empress had something to do with it.

Hey man, I know how it feels.

I wrecked on my dirt bike last april and shattered my kneecap into 3 pieces and I was off the bike for 2 months. Even then it was uncomfortable because I couldn't move my knee for a little over a month and it got a little stiff. Then last wednesday I had the 3 screws removed from my knee because they were bothering me so you're not alone my friend :D.

Here are the screws from my knee... I'll post pics of my knee upon request, and jobob, this means you have to post yours too. If you want though, not going to twist your arm or anything :D.

Sorry to hear about the accident. I really have to get online more often. Glad to hear you are well on the road to recovery. Get well soon. I need to remind my 2000 red Jetta what it wants to be when it grows up.
