This vehicle has a rebuilt status due to a very minor front end accident. I have pictures of the vehicle before and during the repair to prove just how minor the damage was. All repairs were preformed at an ICBC accredited repair facility and the vehicle has passed both structural integrity and provincial mechanical independent inspections.
Price is high considering the above fact. My old '03 Wagon with boat-loads of extras recently sold for $6500. The people I sold to were stuck without a work vehicle and needed to sell in a hurry so the price was a bit low but still not far off the mark.

Thanks Ed.
Too bad I didn't know you were selling your wagon.... I'd always had my eye on an ALH jetta wagon..

If the vehicle was properly repaired, is there much issue with rebuilt status?

I worked briefly at a dealership, and they wouldnt even enter into a discussion with a customer if they intended to trade in a car with a reconstructed branded title. They essentially consideredmthe value to be zero.

If it's done properly there should be no issues, but unless you did or oversaw the work yourself how could you ever be sure? There would always be a nagging feeling in the back of your mind anytime something needed repairing that it may be due to the accident repairs. I persnoally could never own a vehicle like that.

As for my Wagon, I sold it a couple years ago when I came to the realization that I had 2 project cars going and it was getting costly! I still regret selling it because to be honest I really enjoyed the Wagon. I hope to own a Wagon again in the future sometime, but it'll likely be a new MK5 JSW or MK6 Golf Wagon this time around, unless I end up with a Toureg TDI!
