All 4 inch lifted Golfs do is look ridiculous, wear out driveshafts, handle like crap, and look ridiculous. Look up ID Parts "Beef on a beer budget" spring package for A4s that gives a more useful inch or two of lift.

I will say however Judah at 4" you have to delete the sway bar AFAIK. Which leads to even worse handling. Maybe you could elongate the drop links but idk.

I have the jeep spring lift on my 2002 TDI Beetle, about 4" lift, driving it daily for 2 years with no drive line issues and stock sway bay installed. Built it because I lived on a dirt road and already broke 1 oil pan when it was stock height, just need to put on some skid plates.

Roads around Tintah ain't that bad, used to run a Golf 4 TDI all over the back roads around Starbuck, only mods were the "Beef on a beer budget" VR6 and wagon springs from ID Parts and their aluminum bash plate- why mess with Jeep springs when OEM VW ones give 2" lift and are so cheap?
