In May there is usually a "Miatas At Moab" event. So we wouldn't be the first to have an event there.
Moab is VERY expensive.....Plus it'll be hotter than the blazes.....April or Sept.....Late.

Nothing is official yet. Look for an announcement and details next week.

There is a proposal that is being tweak and wrapped up as mentioned by VeeDubTDI, the hope is to have something together for next week.

That said, it's not too early to starting thinking about 2014....

Re: St Louis MO TDI Fest 2014

I am disappointed that my humble little evaluatory probe fizzled before it got started. :( I tend to take these things one step at a time, and let things unfold as they will. The effort didn't quite gel that take. I think it COULD...but I personally do not wish to assume much responsibility meeting the TDI Club standards. If I had more experience with this club's membership and TDI Fest as to what kind of forgiveness there is for low-key imperfections, it might be different, but as it stands I'm split on being involved in the daunting task, part of me is gung-ho and part is very trepidacious. I would most likely allow myself to be encouraged into involvment as part of an accepted TDI member team.

My sense of free spirit and zest for life is battling my sense of practical hermitism....

Just bein' honest....

TomJD, are you back in the states yet? I'm looking for your ride in the Driving Game thread....;)

At least you're honest about it. Very admirable. :)

Ummmm.. You must be thinking of another site. This is Fred's.
With the motley crew of members in here, imperfection IS the standard.

Dozenspeed you would do an awesome job with this project. The first year is always the hardest :) And I have learned you will never make every body happy when there's a large crowd. Someone will complain about something no matter how good of a job was done.

Hmmmm. Jason your pretty damn good at fixing the TDI's but your German?
If dad was still with us, he could tell you in German just how tough those original Panzers were. Now you just bolt them to the bottoms of these cars. German cars with Panzer plates, go figure.

This thread had disappeared from my list due to no new posts in the prior 7 days.
So here's a bump.

Oooh, that's a sad bit of information, that a bump is warranted...
Or shoud I leave this alone and let it expire?
