Hi all I was moving along about 80ish and it just died almost like it ran out of fuel but not. When I try to start it now it will start to light and then just turn over. 03 ALH Golf 168k on the clock. I kinda feel like it is fuel related but wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if so what it was.
TIA
Also only code that came up via Vagcom was maf sensor I replaced it to no avail.
Timing belt was done 10 k miles ago.
Has Kermas 165 hp kit , Rebuilt injector pump, Darkside intercooler. southbend clutch , arp head studs.

Have you checked to see if the TB is intact and tensioned correctly yet?
You think it’s fuel related….is there a huge air bubble in the clear fuel line?
Who did the rebuild on the injector pump?

Yes I have checked the timing belt and it’s good.

Yes I did take a look at the TB and it is good. I was thinking fuel related as it tries To run and then just turns over with no start. The injection pump has only about 10000 miles on it. I believe I bought it from parts place inc. I need to crack the injector lines to see if it’s getting fuel.

I have not checked the 109 relay as I already replaced it about the same time as the injection pump.

Check the CPS ( Crankshaft position sensor ) My 03 Jetta did that quite often before it finally set a code. Cured my stalling and restarting problem.

Did you ACTUALLY rotate the engine by hand and see if the timing is actually correct.....cam, crank, flywheel?
Just taking a pointless "look" at the belt is........pointless.

Just seeing the name "parts place" makes the whizz run down my pantleg.
