Cool. Good catch with the cell phone to grab a piece of Pi.
As for over 300k miles being pie in the sky.....When I sold my 02 Golf TDI in 2010 at only 361k miles, it was still way to early to tell.
I got a very crappy cell phone pic of mine showing all 3s on the display. When the odo reached 333,000 miles, I zeroed the trip meter. I was ready when it showed 333333 miles on the odo and 333.3 miles on the trip meter. I didn't keep the car long enough to catch 444444 miles on the odo and 444.4 miles on the trip meter.
