- TDI
- Jetta Variant, '03, Made in Germany, silber, 486,000+ miles and still singing!
I've got a silver 6-speed wagen, nice black cloth interior, everything seems to work except...
- the steering rack leaks,
- there's a squeek from the left from wheel,
- the rust bug has started eating the bottoms of the front fenders,
- the glow plug light has been on for 4 years, (starts all winter though),
- and the airbag light recently came on (have not scanned it but guessing the clock spring or seat sensor).
And it has 480,000+ miles on it.
But...
- Service records from new,
- Cat filter and fuel additive each fill-up for years and years,
- Old Navy pcv oil seperator
- Documented oil & filter changes with Rotella Full Synthetic oil (burns no oil between changes!!!)
- Koni struts and springs (been in a long time)
- Panzer skid plate
- Maintenance not done by me was done by Jettah in Fowlerville, MI
- VR-6 clutch
- Rocket Chip Stage 2
- Trans rebuilt by Matt Whitbread
My wife says no one will want it but I disagree!
Just bought a new car and I'd like someone to have my TDi. But I can also use it as a winter beater and let the Michigan salt have another go at it.
What do you think?
