Internal Control Module Memory Error (vag com)

Sorry if this was addressed, but i searched and couldn't find it.

i am getting this code

65535 -Internal Control Module Memory Error
35-10 Intermittent.

i'll clear it and it comes back a few minutes later.

I'll bet its the tubing inside the ECU box. Check/replace all the tubing connecting to the N75 valve.

Good chance that this is the problem.

Otherwise - look at the hose that connects the ecu to the innercooler. It tends to rub a hole it in, and may have the same error code as the little one inside the ecu.

alright i'll check that line

i already replaced all my vacuum lines a little over a year ago, maybe it came loose.

Did you open hate ECU and change the tube inside the ECU?

i just changed the tube inside the ecu.

how important is it to have the ecu supported by the 3 bolts? I broke the rear plastic "pin" trying to get it back in. Anyone know the part # for that if its essential?

alex - did you read the advise given to vinyl_addict? Follow the suggestions in the thread, and see if it works for you.
