Hello. I'm reaching out to the forum to get assistance in diagnosing what I think may be a fuel delivery issue. I have a 2015 sel 6 speed manual, Rawtech turbo back exhaust with dpf, egr, and add blue delete.

The symptoms are a sudden drop of ~200 rpm while shifting up through the gears or at highway speeds accompanied with the a feeling that the brakes are being applied. These symptoms may happen once or numerous times in a row. They seem to isolated within the first 20 minutes on the road then stop. There is no CEL displayed or DTC on VCDS.

Has anyone come across this issue or has a suggestion on where to start troubleshooting.

Have you changed your crank position sensor yet?

Dual mass flywheel.

Very common failure on mk5/mk6 tdis. Also made worse if it's been modified. Shifting is when it's most noticeable.

But like Pedro said mk7 tdis seem to go through CPS often enough to be also a culprit. I'd do some logging to see if the CPS signal is dropping out.
