Replacing a 214k-mile ALH in a 2003 with a low-mileage ALH from a 2001. Will use the car's four-wire glow-plug harness to match the car's electronics.

However, the connector to the third injector on the 2001 engine is a different style connector than the I3 connector in the car. My choice is to change the connector and use Injector #3 in the low mileage engine because it has the same miles as the other three in that engine.

Choice #2 would be to swap Injector #3—connectors would match; and engine would have high-mileage I3.

Opinions?

If you have a de-pin tool, you can easily swap the connectors since they use the same terminals. This seems like the easiest option.

You can also depin it with a paperclip. I'd swap connectors over, only takes a minute.
