Due to the fact that I have no money to pay for my baby anymore because I am getting fired!!!! I am thinking of selling. If there is anyone out there in the Chicago area interested please let me know. Her name is Heidi and she has less than 5000 miles on her. I bought her on Nov. 11, 2000 and she has beige interior. Luxury package and the nice TDI engine we all love. I bought an extended warranty for 5 years 60,000 miles and that would be included in the sale. I am not sure I want to sell yet, but most likely she will have to go. If anyone would have her and take good care of her for about $18,000 give me an email. Watch the email address though, it will be changing soon, wonder why?

Let me add some more detail to this.

4-door indigo blue with beige cloth interior.
MANUAL trans!!!!
Added factory in dash cd player (no changer)
Alloy wheels and sunroof with lux package.
No heated seats, sorry, I wish I had'em.
No smoking in this car, no dings, scratches, or spots, haven't even hit a curb yet!!
No mods to the engine or anything

My wife sure does love the warm weather, but right now I am thinking of going back to school for my masters or Ph. D. I am a Chemist, currently acting as a materials engineer for a certain company in the personal communications electronics business. I wouldn't be surprised if I do live in Texas or Florida after my schooling. My wife REALLY REALLY hates the Chicago winters. I tell her just be glad we aren't in MN or Canada.

Looks like you have had a nice collection of diesels, how does the VW TDI compare?

I fled the Chicago area last fall when I saw that the economy was about to take a nose dive. As a matter of fact, I finish selling my house on Feb. 16... YEAH! I may be interested in your Golf TDI though if you decide to sell it. Even though I left Chicago, the company I still work is in the Lake Forest area. Let me know what you decide.
