I'm still ahead of you on 1,000 mile tanks - looks like #4 in a row coming up! All you have to do to beat me is do five in a row! And you blew it on the windshield mod opportunity - oh well!

Was a good time last night. Next month we'll be back at Logan's on the south side of South Bend on Monday, September 10th.

Sorry, poor English. I meant that I moved above the snow line that seems to run through Plymouth. When I lived in Evansville, I would drive home during winter to see family. I knew I was near home as there was usually snow from Plymouth and northwards. I don't live in Plymouth, I only live north of it and hence past the snow line. Sorry for the mis-speak/type.

South Bend, IN 46614

Please post if you plan to attend - we will wait in parking lot until everyone shows up or clock strikes 6:30pm - whichever one occurs first. Just look for the VW's in the lot as we try to park next to each other - mine is a white Jetta sedan and the other two that should be there are a silver Jetta wagon and a dark blue Jetta wagon as those are the other regular attendees.

BTW Logan's is out front by Ireland Road on the east side of the former Scottsdale Mall area - basically the Montgomery Ward's end so that will help you fix the location of Logan's. Target is in back of Logan's against the US 20 bypass.

I plan on coming out and meeting you guys. It looks like our schedules have aligned as my work activites have brought me much closer to home this week. I will be driving a silver Jetta wagen.

Great! I know my white Jetta sedan and X_RR'der's dark blue Jetta wagon will be there but TDI_Convert's silver Jetta wagon may or may not be coming as well. A blue Golf should be attending as well. Looking forward to meeting you!

Don't feel too bad about having an unwashed car - mine needs a bath too! I washed/waxed it before going to Canada/TDI Fest and haven't had time to clean it yet. Tomorrow (Thursday) would've been a good day but my employer is sending me to Marinette, WI on a one day trip then! Yup - about 700 miles up/back in the F450 PowerStroke diesel. Hopefully this weekend I'll get the Jetta cleaned up....

At this time I'm leaning towards TGI Friday's for next month.....

Hey deezay -

I live on the NW side by Cleveland and US 31 bypass - have RC Stage 2, Sprint 520's, DRW, etc. on my TDI so yeah, it's slightly modified. Have not seen your car around here but then I work in Michigan so I'm always north of the state line on US 31 anyway. See that you have sent me a PM so I'll respond to it soon as I post this.

BTW if you have read this entire thread you should be aware us local Michiana TDI'ers have a monthly dinner GTG on the (usually) 2nd Monday or Tuesday of the month. Next one should be on Monday, October 8th so I see you'll have to miss it as you're out of town then. But then we have moved the dates in the past so if we make it Monday, October 15 can we count on you to be there? (I'm the one who coordinates these dinner GTG's so it's easy for me to do these changes - nobody else has minded so far!)

Indy GTG

I'm not even technically a TDI owner yet (we decided to wait on the common rail tech to make it's way over the pond) but I'm interested in an Indy GTG if there is one. I'm South of Indy but work downtown.

So if anyone is up for it, and doesn't mind me driving my rice burner, I would enjoy getting to know some of the other club members.
