I have a VAG-COM and Ive searched their site and this one. I havent found anything. I did find a how to to move it a little but didnt have the increase I was looking for. I have seen other questions like this that turned into a "why do you want to do that" attack and I wont respond to such info seeking. the car is fine and healthy and I'm not trying to compensate for a problem it should be fixed or dressed.

If you have an idea please share. . Thx!

This is what I found somewhere along the line.
I don't give a rats rump why you want to do this. :D

01-Engine: -- KWP-1281
VCDS works well with all engines available in the U.S. and most engines that users have tested in overseas
markets.
Idle Speed Adaptation (may not work with APH engines, see your Repair Manual):
With engine warmed up, at idle:
[Select]
[01 engine]
[Adaptation - 10]
Enter channel 01 (Channel 02 for TDI engines)
Enter an adaptation value between 124 and 132
[Save]
The actual idle values and range of adjustment will depend on the specific characteristics of
the engine and ECU.

I believe the idle can only be changed in a range from 850 to 950 on an ALH in 50 RPM increments.

Contact a tuning company to see if they offer something for your request.
Please don't tell me why you want to do this. :D

Ghost ridin' the whip at a more acceptable speed?

ECU tuning is best if you want to set it considerably higher, it can also be set based off coolant temperature, sort of how it is stock, only more aggressive with 11-1200 when cold. Permanently raising it for engine mounts works too, but 950 in vcds should be enough there.
