Any 2.0 CR folks w/a stage 1 or 2 and/or DSG tune going? I would love a ride-along in one to see how the tune affects the performance. After driving my other cars, every time I get back into my JSW my mind is blown at the lethargic feeling DSG response. Thinking the tune would resolve the issue but need to experience it to be sure.

It could be how you drive it. I know if try to power out of corners it shudders a little. The one thing it does its drops it 6th at slow of speed.

It's been a while since I've been to one of these...always had a good time but this weekend always seems to be prime real estate on the calendar. I hope to make it this year and would be interested in a windshield, dent repair, and wheel touch up. Of course I'm looking forward to hanging out, helping where I can, and meeting some new folks!

Materials

If we are getting a brake fluid flush do we have to pre-order the fluid separately, get it separately the day of the service or is it provided as part of the service?

This is a DIY event, but there will be folks there to help. I will bring a Motive pressure flush pump, but you need to provide the fluid and be prepared to take the old fluid with you. Yes, you can buy the brake fluid there.

Anyone got a fender roller available for use? Rolling my front fenders has been on my bucket list for awhile now since my new tires slightly rub the lip .

hi.. haven't been to one of these in ages but planning on heading up this saturday. i'm interested in a) dent (had a Homer moment with a tool on my tailgate that may or may not be 'fixable'; b) paint (many pits and rust starting on hood) and c) headlight polish (driver side)

as relates to a side-- i'll likely bring beer but may post an update if a food item comes to mind between now and sat

looking forward to reconnecting with folks i haven't seen in awhile and meeting newbies

Don't know. Never had to do it. Maybe someone else will chime in, or you could post the question in the MKIV forum.

What parts of the A/C? Just the compressor? HVAC control head? Everything including evaporator and condenser?

Could be something as simple as a fuse. Had the same problem on our Golf last year. We can check it out on Saturday.

It can be many things, freon leak, high pressure switch, ac compressor, signal to the compressor, control unit, etc...we would have to take a look at it...

I did get of hold of him. His truck was total last week. He is waiting for Insurance company check. This was on Tuesday.
He said he would be there to answered any question.
