Illinois Diesel

Seems I remember something about VW voiding warranties if they found you using Bio diesel over 11%. Illinois diesel pumps are now sporting labels stating that the diesel may contain from 5 to 20 % bio. If my previous assumtion is correct then if you drive off the lot with a new car and fill it up in Illinois, you may have just voided your warranty.

If you drive off the lot with a new car you have more to worry about like oil contamination from the post injection. We have a thread in the Midwest section for those of us in Chicago. If you have knowledge of places selling non bio in your area, please contribute! Fortunately we have a few, and there's always Wisconsin or Indiana for those close to the border.
