If you could do one thing, a mod or what not, not a VCDS mod a physical mod to your TDI what would it be, and on the other hand if there was one you regret doing.
I am stumped ever since I got the TDI after having my 08 Jetta 2.5 for 2 years and doing a few mods to it, and going thru a royal pain of a warranty nightmare that VW purchased it back from me and got me into my 2011 Golf TDI. I had a huge list for the Jetta, the Golf looks good the way it is, I have a few things in mind, like my signature says and a few others like tint and maybe blacking out my trim, but I wanted to see what you guys and gals have done or want to do...
The one I regret doing, was lowering it, a friend gave me a set of H&R Ultra Lows as a gift for helping him install his Airride setup, I don't know the differences between the GTI and the TDI was but my car was way lower then his and the coils were cranked all the way up, 3 days after installing the coils I am happily back on stock springs. But I now have a set of super sport springs sitting in the corner and wondering if I want to try again and put in some heavier sway bars.
So TDICLUB whats on your list of hits and misses?

I would put a new down pipe in and remove some other stuff. Unfortunately between warranty and the amount of work, it's not going to happen....any time soon at least if ever. :p

AWD.

A Tuned TDI with 400+ Torque is sweet; but basically useless with FWD traction issues...

Not that I have a Tuned, 400+ torque TDi yet, but...

This is something I'd like too. I miss the awd of my R32 for snow handling and fun.

LOLOLOL! Did you read the name of the coils you installed? ULTRA LOWS... they are the LOWEST coils on the market, what did you expect? LMFAO.

When they were on his GTI they looked good, I maxed them out height wise for a bit more height, and after they settled I was lower then his car was. I mean the front mudflaps were 1/4 off the ground, lol. So I learned when you high center on a speed bump at Wal Mart going at an angle, you know you are too low. :D

The one I already did... Leather interior... This should have been available from the factory on a top spec Golf.

Pretty much already stated, but AWD. Leather as an option would have been nice as well, but I'll probably just reupholster once the fabric gives out.

The question was, "If you could do one thing to your TDI".

Not "How do I go about paying for my TDI two times over?"

Make it so I could see the heater setting on the dashboard MFI. Instead of glancing down to see where the heat, fan, and direction are headed.
