Awesome deal. Unfortunately our Volvo dealer doesn't have any V60 except one 2015.5 so we did Euro delivery on a V60 platinum. Didn't get quite that much off but got around 4k off and it is a 2017 platinum trim with the packages I want and we get 2 free tickets and 4 notes nights in Sweden (promo on now). So a decent deal.
I picked up a 2015 (not 2015.5) CPO V60 earlier today. The dealer was a bit of a ways away, so I had to fly down, do the paperwork and then drive it back. I got nearly everything I wanted in the car, and it fits in the garage (barely).
It will take a bit of getting used to all of the different controls, and tomorrow I will need to pick up the "Fit Kit" for the Thule roof rack that I had on the JSW.
For people contemplating a V60, a couple of comments. Options are very much a la carte. There are a couple of trim levels, which influence to a degree what options are standard and what ones you pay extra for. If you are ordering something, you get complete control over what you get of course. If you are buying off the lot or buying CPO, you have to pay closer attention to what each car has and compare it to the list of things you really want.
One thing that I should note is that backup cameras on Volvo are not standard. Some have it, some don't. And for the some that don't have it, some have the extra stuff in the wiring harness that is needed, and some don't. Apparently a dealer can do a lookup using the VIN to determine whether the wiring is ready or not. If it has the wiring, a dealer can install the camera and complete the install (for a fee, of course). If you don't have the wiring, my understanding is that the dealer won't touch it.
Secondly, a lot of cars these days don't have a spare tire any more. They give you a portable compressor and a can of fix-a-flat. It isn't just Volvo - other manufacturers do the same thing these days. The reasoning in part is that they can save both weight and money, and lots of customers will call roadside service anyways (the article I read compared knowing how to change tires to driving a manual - lots of people don't know how to do either). But even if you call roadside service, and you don't have a proper spare of some sort, you are looking at a tow to a tire shop that hopefully has your size. There is room in the trunk for a proper spare however, so one of the things on my new todo list is to find a cheap rim and tire of the proper size (along with a jack and a wrench).
The compressor/fix-a-flat can kind of work if you just pick up a nail (but tire shops hate it when you bring in a tire with that fix-a-flat stuff in it). But if you damage the sidewall or get a blowout, you are looking at a tow to a tire shop.
My V60 is the "Platinum" trim level, so it came with navigation and the backup camera. It doesn't have things like BLIS (blind spot system), adaptive cruise control, "HomeLink" and a few other things that some people get. There were apparently some changes from 2015 to 2015.5 where they added some of these things.
Finally, there is an Android app from Volvo with the owners manual that is a lot easier to browse than the paper version.
