Volkswagen has a Marine Diesel Division selling, you guessed it, TDi motors for new, as well as, repower applications.

Diesel 4runner's and tundras, or their equivalents, are found in places like Africa, Southwest and Southeast Asia including Australia and New Zealand.

The current issue of Men's Vogue, has a story about a guy who owns a ranch in Utah, if I recall correctly, with a 1973 or 1974 Australian-built, right-hand drive, diesel Toyota Land Cruiser running on B100 biodiesel.
