I"m new the club, I have a 2015 VW Golf TDI. Phase Two Emissions Modifications

Diesel Oxidation Catalyst; My phase two replacement is coming up. My question is, once this is replaced, does it have to be done again in X number of kilometers?
is this to be replaced continuously, or is it something, once replaced, it's good to go for the life of the vehicle?

Not regular maintenance but is covered by the extended emissions warranty as long as it lasts.
