Do you think this is the reason that I've been able to throw all those mods at it without much more than a couple slips here and there? 240k on the original clutch.

I tried searching for people mentioning the luk clutch for a b4. I know that some of the a4's got them and they were beefier. Is that the case here? Or did luk make the same ol' clutch kit as valeo or sachs and I just happened to have a nice strong one. I need to edit a bunch of posts if this is some anomaly.

028141035b on the disk. Face looks good I guess (maybe 3mm left I dunno if that matters), but the springs could have potentially failed on me. Look at that.

I was under the impression that A4 clutches were weaker than A3/B4 ones, thus the appeal to switch to a G60 flywheel/VR6 clutch in the A4s...

The weaker A4 clutches I believe are the non Luk clutches. The Luk was a one year part. I think 99.5 only... but I'm not well versed in A4 information.

There are just too many to list....
My A2 has a Luk disk and a Sachs pressure plate from the factory.

It lasted over 400k miles though, so I can't complain. :D
