Howdy y'all! I'm new here from Texas via Iraq. I am glad to have googled and found this place! I am new to VW but not to diesels. In the past I have owned a '94 Hummer H1 with an NA 6.5L Detroit Diesel and, most recently, a 2001 Ford Excursion with a 7.3L Turbofied Navistar. I am a fan of the diesel!

Just curious- where did you buy it, and what sort of diesel is available over there?

Oh, it's not here with me here. It's in Texas with the family. Funny, I did the deal via FaceTime and Skype. I haven't actually laid hands on it yet but I'm dying to. I'm very anxious to get a feel for the DSG.
