Anyone have instructions on removing the front bumper?

Thanks!

I've never removed the bumper off this particular car but mostly all vws are the same.

Remove the grille
remove any screws that look like they are holding the bumper
Remove screws from wheel well (turn wheel one way to make room for a screw driver)
Remove screws from bottom of bumper
Then the bumper should just slide off toward the front (make sure to unclip the fog lights if you have them
All screws are torx screws (T25 I think)

It's pretty simple, what mainly holds the bumper in place are the slots in the fender/front bumper mount. The few screws just hold it in the slots

This what you are looking for.
First remove the grille
Then
Remove all screws(2,3,4)
Then pull out corners A from the guides on the fenders
Then slide forward B
Disconnect any electrical as equipped
They recommend two people to detach the corners simultaneously then slide forward.

The radiator grille is the one that needs to be removed.
It has 3 or 4 screws on top and then is detached from the bumper by pulling at the bottom of the grille. iIRC There are about 6 tabs that hold it to the bumper cover.

There are photos and better description on another thread under "how to remove front grill?"

Yes there's 3 screws up top, then put your hands in the bottom of the grille and press on the bumper with your thumbs. It will make sense when you're doing it

I worded that poorly, I was asking about the lower "bumper" grill. Thanks again.
