Thanks for the post, I'm new here and I'm still learning to read diagrams, this will help me a lot. I also plan to purchase an OBD2 scanner and I'm still deciding which I should pick on this Actron Scanner Review at https://bestobd2scanners.com/actron/.

Okay... electrical NOOB question... in the first video they show the 16 pin ODB2 port. When looking at it, is the wiring done as you're looking at the connector plugged in or the face of the connector. Such that, Pin 1 will be upper left or right depending on how you're looking at it. I gotta crawl before I can walk!
