how to pair Garmin GPS with the JSW via bluetooth

Can any one tell me if it is possible to pair my Garmin nuvi 885t to my jsw via BT. I can do it with my phone, itouch but I can not do it with my GPS. The Garmin GPS see the VW BT then ask the VW BT to pair to it by passkey 1234, then the GPS says pairing fail. I love to connect the audio and the mic from the Garmin gps to the car's audio and mic.

If it can be done, you probably have the wrong pass key. It is either 0000 or 1234. It could also be 1111 or 2222. Key hacking until you eliminate every possibility.

I'm not sure that is possible because both the BT you're trying to connect are the "receivers". For examply, your Nav receives your phone and plays the sound through the Nav unit. The car's BT is also a receiver in that you connect your phone to it play phone audio. I don't think it can be done.

Okay, I suspect that both BT in the car and in the Garmin are the receiver. Thank You for confirming that.

I have the same Garmin........believe me it has a far superior Bluetooth than the Factory VW one........I didn't even bother to program the VW Bluetooth.
