I'm pulling a alh motor out of a car. I won't need the instrument cluster.

Can I just take the harness from the computer down to the engine?

Computer too obviously

When I pulled my alh I took just about everything except for the obvious stuff that runs to the taillights, speaker ect. It makes it a bit nicer to sort it out at a later date. If you really don't want to do that then just grab the engine bay stuff plus the accelerator pedal. The fuse block really isn't a necessity. It just means for work from scratch vs modifying what you have.

You will need the cluster, key and key cylinder rf ring if you don't plan on getting a imob delete.

There are Two parts, one you keep, one you cut. The part you keep plugs into most of the sensors on the engine. The ones that go through the other side get wired in with fuses and such.
Thats how I have done it anyway.

Yes. The harness runs up the drivers side and splits to the computer and into the cluster. I'm thinking of cutting it at the split
