From 3.79 at the beach in Tampa/Clearwater to 4.50 in Orlando.(I didn't fill there, went across the street and paid 3.89... I'm really confused why the beach is consistently cheaper...

$4.159 for D2 in my area, by far the lowest in So. Cal. Others charge $4.25-$4.39 for D2. You guys are lucky to be paying less than $4/Gallon.

I filled up last night at Shell in Richardson, TX at $3.69/gal. I have seen diesel in the Dallas area as low as $3.50/gal but is leary about off-brand gas stations like Quik-Trip, Racetrack, or any other type of convenient store station.

Jetta at 45 MPG: $1850
Gasser at 30 MPG: $2230

In Louisville diesel fuel is $1.06 more per gallon than RUG. $4.09 vs. $3.03. Big rip-off. Oh, they'll have a reason for it, they always do.

Gasbuddy says cheapest diesel in my town is $3.66, I paid $3.80, cheapest RUG is $3.08.

But then that last fill up was in a nearby town, and was B5 instead of straight dino-juice.

So, ok, that's 23% higher fuel price, but it gets me 30% farther in the Jeep, 50% farther in the Jetta . . . I'm STILL ahead, even paying a premium for the B5. And there's no doubt that the extra lubricity is good for the CR HPFP in the Jeep, which is what I was driving that day.
