2013 Jetta Sportwagen, crossed 210k miles the other day still chugging. Just broken in!
216k miles, about to cross over to 217k by next weekend!

put a GTB2266 turbo on 2-3k miles ago now, the stock turbo was basically perfect still! no damage on the compressor or turbine, no shaft play, VNT system was free moving but not loose like you'd expect a worn down/in machine to be.

i am projected to cross 225k miles by end of year.. have a long road trip coming up in 2 weeks which i will put 3.5k miles on it in less than 2 weeks lol

Old 2011 JSW I bought new, racked up to nearly 300k miles and got rearended and mech unit took a dump on me that day so I sent her off to the buyback program and shes sorely missed.

Now 2014 JSW, I bought on Sept 2018 at 20k miles and now nearly 170k miles. TB done at 70k miles, xman CR170 and cp3 since 25k miles.

I have a 2003 ALH Jetta Wagon. Just over 689K km. I'm into my third year of ownership, got it at 523K. Been a pretty great vehicle. Still original engine and transmission. My buddy who I got from had done the clutch at some point. I also have a spare engine for it.

I have 165k on my 2015 Golf SE TDI. All the maintenance is up to date, new tires, front brakes and a driver's side OEM front axle. Couple of little things went such as the hatch latch (OEM was used in replacement) and a mirror glass just plain became unglued. Next oil change I am putting all new belly pan screws and clips on it. IDparts.com has been so helpful.

DSEL - just rolled over into 277K (bought two years ago with 213K).
DSOL - I think 158K (bought last year with 152K).
DSUL - haven't put more than 500-750 on it, but it's at around 258K-ish
JSW - I think that's around 140K-ish. Bought with 38K in October 2018.
sold 2010 - bought brand new in December 2010. Sold it in Jan or Feb 2020 with about 252K.
Ute - I don't remember, but it's over 250K. Still debating whether I'll finish it or not. VERY tempted to sell it with the parts, because I don't have the time to finish it, and my parents are going to eventually give me their diesel side by side (that I do maintenance on, anyways).
Side by side - not turbo, but it is diesel. Bought in 2016 and just used locally on the ranch and in town. I think 650-ish hours, and a little over 2K. Bought new.
I'm having fun with this lol.
1995 F-450 - Bought in Feb or March 2018, 168K on the clock. Now at 184K (used only as a farm truck).

Replaced oil and filters in my son's '02 Golf today at 480K miles. He bought it at 265K about 8 years ago. It's still one of the smoothest running TDIs I've ever driven.

Sounds like about what I put on a mk4 - 25-30K a year. I think I now have an affinity for the 2002 Golf as well, since I do own two of 'em!

We have a bit of a competition going, as my Wagon has 474K on it. But he's now driving an '11 JSW a lot of the time, so I may catch him.

2005 Jetta Wagon, automatic – 444k miles. The stitching on the leather seats is starting to fail. Other than that, runs good.

My 2004 TDI has 523,000 miles on it and still runs great.
I do believe in keeping up with all the maintenance when its time.

My 2004 Jetta Wagon TDI has 197,000 miles. I bought it with 160,000 in 2016 so low annual usage, mostly camping trips, and keep up with maintenance.

This thread is the testament to the unsung ecological value of the VW diesel. The resources consumed and carbon released in the creation of our vehicles is utilized over 2 or 3 lifetimes of most cars. Over this lifetime, we consume significantly less fuel than the average vehicle, further reducing the environmental impact. Compared to a tdi, a Prius or a Tesla is a tire fire on a melting glacier.

Closing in on 290,000 miles for me.

Yeah, and yet we cannot have new TDI’s in North America, but gas-guzzling SUV’s are just fine... SMH

.... along with the rest of your friends @ Monsanto....
Jokes and references to the many other applicable industries sharing the same problem aside...

I was being quite directly literal there, the emissions regs were assembled mostly by 'the big three' automakers.
Writing the regs for your own industry should be pretty obvious in the anticompetitive slant that it will create in resulting regs that are easy to meet with a big iron lump of an engine making 20hp/liter but difficult to meet with a li'l thrifty foreign engine with double the power density.

Still pretty low. Just hit 280K on DSEL, 160K on DSOL, 258K on DSUL, 133K on the JSW, gf's JSW has 205K, and I think the Ute is also around 260K.
And I have a 2006 BRM that I need to do lifters/cam on that has 339K.
