how many miles have you racked up on your TDI?

~4000 miles in a year since my wife retired last August and the kids are back in the Charlotte area. Going to have to start thinking about going to a 12 month maintenance program rather than by miles.

Add another 4000. Just turned over 150k miles. going to have to pull the bike rack out of storage and start using the JSW for our bike trips. Upper 30s vs low 20s for the truck.

I have a 2003 jetta TDI 1.9 I have 417,000 miles and still going strong! Fuel pump rotor is getting wore and it idles not the best,but runs excellent,too bad there is no Rebuild for these pump all they sell are seal kits....

You can have the pump rebuilt, but it's not a do-it-yourself task. There are a handful of diesel shops that do this. Not cheap, but far cheaper than new pumps these days, which are going obsolete.

2012 Golf with 172,000km, barely drive it nowadays with online school but I did 70,000km in the first 2 years which is double that of an average Canadian.

381,000 Miles on 2000 NB, 5 speed conversion

Edit Apr 29, 2022 - I'm pretty disappointed if I don't get at least 550 miles, if not 600 miles on a tank. My very best was 717 miles on 16.95 gallons
Besides the 5 speed conversion, - RC2 (customized to minimize smoke with ->) , Larger fuel injection Nozzles, 3 inch exhaust from Turbo on back

561000 miles on a 2002 Jetta tdi auto with manual transmission conversion. Engine ate some of the turbo impeller blades last year and it is still running good. These engines are indestructible.

After averaging around 4000 miles for the last two years, we ended up putting on almost 3000 in July. Ended up taking the JSW to Iowa. Total mileage is now around 154,000. Not bad for a 12 year old car.

236k on a 03 Wagon and almost at 90k on 13 Passat. With covid and work from home not a lot of miles have been put on the wagon, we mainly use the Passat now. According to my fuelly log last time I filled up the wagon was in October, wow I need to take it out for a drive.

Wagon needs more attention. I might just do that and start driving it more. Passat has been good so far, timing belt done at 110k.

It was down for repairs for two months; just this week started to add more miles. Yes, the oil pump chain was replaced at around 500k miles, during a TB change.
