Hose barb on rear of bhw head

Hi everyone, does anyone know what the hose barb on the back of the bhw head on the passenger side just beside the tandem pump is?

I took a photo but too dumb to put it in the post.

Bleed nipple for the cooling system. Needs to be routed as high as you can on the cooling system. Usually upper rad hose or top radiator tank.

At least on my BEW, that was the supply feed for the EGR cooler. I just used a barb fitting to connect it to the return line from the cooler once the EGR stuff fell out of my car...

I always use that barb as the Bottle return when I cut all the extra **** out of TDIs lol

OK, so on the BHW there is a barb on the steel line that runs behind the fuel filter and out to the rad, I just tapped it into there, solved 2 "spare barbs" in one move! Up, down, left, left, select, start!
