Now that TDIFest 2006 has come & gone, Ho5G can now resume umm...'normal' operation...whatever that is...:D

Join us Sat, Sept 16th to enjoy (hopefully) a little Indian Summer and a lot of wrenching.

Jeff of Rocketchip will be here, so get your chip before dyno day!

Still no lift :(, so nothing too crazy here. No timing belts or clutch jobs...ask if you have questions regarding what you plan to accomplish.

We will need food & supplies...as usual...;)

hmm, I'd like to be able to meet everyone

I also wanted to get some nozzles from kerma, and send them to lubricationspecialists, put them in, and get a chip, but I dunno if I'll have time, not much notice... We'll see.

Get the nozzles from Kerma, put them in at the GTG, run them for a few thousand miles.. then think about getting them tested and balanced. If you get the PP's, Kerma has said they need some running time for them to set in to do a proper balance. Most don't bother to have them balanced as they are very close out of the box. :D

Do you have extra time on your hands ?? That sounds as if MrsChill doesn't give you enough things around the house for you to do...

Dang...I won't be able to make it. I'll be in Chicago that weekend

...I've sent Jeff at Rocket Chip 3 emails with no response and I was hoping to talk him about chipping my new car.

Well...new to me 2004 Passat TDI wagon, bone stock, bought off a lot in NJ with 55k on the odometer. The PO was still there trading it in on a SAAB when I happened to roll by to look at a new Jetta. My lucky day.

If someone could get a message to Jeff that I would love to begin working with him on the 2.0l I would appreciate it... have him PM me and I may be able to get to PA.

If I just get the nozzles, someone will help me swap them into my injector bodies? I have no idea what to do.... btw, I'm looking at spring 205's. People have said pp's and MkIIIs don't mix so well

Also, I've never been to one of these ho5g gtg's so I don't know what to bring foodwise... someone just tell me what to bring and I'll be happy to bring it.

Do I need to let rocketchip (jeff I think) know in advance or anything?

Thanks a lot guys.

If the MKIII's injectors are the same as the MKIV's.. then Peter has mosty all the tools, you might need to dig up a deep socket, and it will take about an hour. Peter, don't you love the way we 'volunteer' your tools :) If you can find the 'how to' for changing injector nozzles, you might want to read it over and make sure you have all the tools you need for the job. I have to believe there will be more than one injector puller around which will make things much easier. As far as RC, you just need to find the signup sheet and get your name on it. If you are wondering what level to get.. track Jeff down as soon as you can stop him for 30 secs and talk it over with him.
