Hiss-Like Noise On Acceleration...

Last night was driving up a decent incline for about 3 - 6 minutes and everything was fine, but then after I got off the freeway and stopped, I noticed a weird noise.
I was in 4th gear the whole time because if not my car really struggles up that incline. (My Passat has a significant loss in power because of, I think, the aftermarket intercooler and pipes the owner before me put on.)

Whenever I accelerate there is a strong hiss like noise coming from the engine.
With it being a diesel and you can hear it over the engine seems crazy to me.

The cars power seems to be pretty much the same and I haven't been able to really check anything yet because it was 11 when I got home.

I didn't notice any oil leaks or anything so I don't think it's from the intercooler, but then again it was night when I got home.

Just wanted to know if anyone had a similar issue. I'm thinking a hose is loose, cracked or just fallen off.

I'm gonna check it out after I get home from work!

Thank you in advance!

Where is the Charge Air Tract?

Is there a common place where boost leaks happen?

I can’t see any immediate leaks anywhere.

It only makes the noise while driving and from 2 and up on the tac.

Look up how to smoke bong test for leaks. Costs literally nothing
