I have this problem for around three month now and I cant seem to get to the bottom of things:
Sometimes the engine will surge when idling even when fully warmed up.
Sometimes when accelerating and reaching a certain RPM (arond 3,000-3,500)the car will have one or two hiccups and loss of power and then get back to normal.
It is inconsistent, some days it will happen some days not at all, it might not happen for a week and then again and so on...
No dash lights are on, no errors on VCDS and sensor readings seem to be normal. Checked for air leaks on fuel lines and filter,new air filter. Our winters are not so cold( mild morning frosts sometimes).
NO turbo, NO MAF sensor, my engine is very similar to the AHU.
