Hey, guys
As I was going into the carwash, as I was driving into the carwash driveline (that pushes the car through the carwash machine), my a.b.s. light came on with the beeping sound for a few seconds and then went away and never came back on since. My braking feels no different and the car is acting normally since the carwash. I called VW and they said they will need to diagnose it which will cost me $114 (including tax), which I think is dumb. So guys should I be worried? Have any of you guys come across a problem like this?

one wheel may have been locked up from the thingy that pushes you and the computer thought that ABS sensor failed because it detected the wheel was at a standstill. It happens on dynos too, throws an ABS light usually until you turn the key off and on again

Yea, Antsrcool is most likely correct. I was first thinking it may have been something else, but that did not explain why it went away.

This Morning as I was standing at a traffic light, the ABS light did the exactly same thing and went away and didn't flash for the whole day as I was driving the car.  :( :( :( :(
