This is my very first post as well as my very first TDI. Purchased her about a month ago I am the second owner, she has 146k miles car has perfect service records and very well kept. Ran great till a week ago, I was going up a moderate incline at about 75mph and the glow plug lights illuminated , wait prior to that earlier in the day the CEL came on , sorry bout that! I pulled over checked the oil it was Low but not empty, had a friend bring me a quart put it in started her up wasn’t back to normal but better than before then the same lights came back on . OBD code was 0299. I ordered the actuator (Amazon) Replaced it (with very little help from anyone) cleared the codes and now the code is 00AF . Same loss of power same lights. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I am a female but pretty mechanically inclined … Thank you in advance!!
